I discovered my love for photography when I was rather young, I found my camera was always glued to my hand. I would photograph my friends in all of their middle school glory and came to notice I preferred being behind the lens instead of in front of it.
My frivolous documentation of friends continued throughout high school, where I took the photography section of an introductory Art class a little too seriously. But it wasn’t until my Senior year that I decided to pursue the medium as a career.
I majored in Digital Photography at college, with my studies bringing me overseas to Australia where I furthered my education in the field. I have been reminded time and time again that it is not the most practical of career choices, but I have never seen myself doing anything else.
